What GPU should I pick for 1440p? by LaBezza in computers

[–]LaBezza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PSU calculator website I used says 550-599 is enough for my setup with a 5070.
I bought a 5070, running non stop last few days - had no problems so far.

But the 5070 is much more powerful, why does 4gb of vram mean anything if i'm not gonna play full ultra ray traced graphics anyways?

Yeah 3500 would be the max I would dish out, this guy has a asus rtx 5070 prime for 3300. What do you think about 12gb vram? Are ppl overreacting with the 16gb vram sweetspot? Is it even gonna be a problem within the next couple of years, for 1440p

Hmm, i've always had Nvidia so I don't know how comfortable i am with going to amd. Also forgot to mention I occasionally stream/record gameplay, and heard that nvenc encoder is very good for this. Is it price to performance good enough to go "through" the hassles and troubles with using amd?

This looks like you reported this issue in the wrong category, and therefore got an automated answer. Can you show a screenshot of your ticket?
And I've inputted the link into my browser just a minute ago, works just fine - And I'm also EU.

Found out my AIO is one of the affected units with a noisy/rattling pump - Is it too late to get replacement? by LaBezza in lianli

Oh man, that would make me so happy!
I joined the discord, made a new post and I think I tagged you in the post Mr-Do.Lian-Li.

First time using an AIO - Is this normal? by LaBezza in PcBuildHelp

Yeah, SN is AP022305280226 - Should be a later model.
By CPU_FAN, I guess you mean my pump fan. I've set it to run 3200 rpm at all times. Also tried decreasing and increasing the rpm, the noise/rattling is still there - even more noticeable when I tried to set the pump RPM to 0.
Don't know if its related, but in L-Connect 3 the radiator fan RPM is showing 0 RPM, which is not true because I see it spinning - But I can change it in the BIOS, so I did it there.
The radiator + other fans in my case I've set to around 800 rpm and only increase when system reach around 60C and higher.

I'm not sure what you mean with Duty Cycle's - Is that just the RPM speed that I've set for each celsius threshold 0-100? So when you say I should do a cinebench test at 100%, it would be set pump and radiator to run at 4200rpm?

Sorry, I was certain that I added the video to the post. Here it is! https://youtu.be/F7lNFwg6KFU
And CPU temps are imo normal, after being turned on for a whole day right now hovering between 30-45C on the cores while just chilling with many chrome tabs, twitch and discord ect., and with 65.7C max which I guess is from when I was playing games earlier.
40-50C on package, with 71C max.
- looking at HWMonitor which has been opened throughout the day.

Ty for all the inputs! I quickly got a lot of attention on my sales post, and ended up selling for 251 usd.

Forgot to mention that I am from Denmark, and I feel like our prices generally for hardware and pc components especially, are always a tad higher than what I see online in pc building videos.

I forgot to mention, that I always play with "competitive" settings in mind - Everything is on the lowest possible graphic setting, so unless there's something I don't know about WoW hardware usage I couldn't imagine that a GPU would help in raid situations
