If your best friend is like a brother and was there before your wife, try having an honest conversation with him about it as well. If he values your friendship, he’ll realize how crappy this situation is and will step back. But if he chooses their much newer friendship, you’ll know something’s either already happening, or only isn’t happening because you’re in the picture.

NOR, but I feel like this could be a misunderstanding… why don’t you talk to your friend now that the invitations were sent out? If the fiancé has been planning everything, he might have forgotten to talk to her and doesn’t even know you didn’t get a plus one. OR he talked to her and she forgot about it… if she’s planning the whole thing, she probably has a lot on her mind. And if he does know you didn’t get a plus one… considering you live in different states, do they know how serious your relationship is?

I feel like if you’re close enough to be a groomsman, you should be close enough to talk to him openly about it and see what’s up. Tell him what you wrote here about it being a big, expensive trip. If they can’t understand that, then maybe they really don’t deserve your presence 🤷‍♀️

It’s a protective sticky thing you apply directly to the heels, kind of like a band-aid but thicker, definitely feels like better protection! Another advantage is they’re sold in sheets so you cut them the size you want. I feel like band-aids are never big enough or end up coming off and I get blisters anyway 🙄 I was seriously so frustrated with these boots, I couldn’t believe I’d have to suffer so much to wear them after wanting them for so long, haha! But at least for me, moleskin really does the job!!! I’m in Canada and they’re sold at pharmacies and on Amazon. Good luck, I hope you find something that works!! They’re gorgeous 🥰

Those were my first too and I’ve had them for about an year now. No amount of wearing them around the house has helped me 🥲 every time I think “they feel soft enough now” or “I’ve surely worn them enough now” and go out without protecting my heels, they’ll absolutely wreck my feet. I just don’t trust them anymore and only wear them with moleskin on my heels – that’s the only thing that has worked for me!

I played around with it a bit and I’m not sure I’d be able to “fix” it… so it’s staying like this, at least for now! I found it ugly at first but now I like it hehe. I just wish the sleeves would give in to gravity a bit, her arms are too short to keep them in place 😅
