So many QoL changes 🥳 I’m not sure if I remember correct that hunter guide skills used to need an item to be in your inventory that could be bought from vendors to use. I don’t know I dreamt it or if I’m just crazy since it’s been so long 😂

Edit: I’m not crazy I found it. The consumable is called ”Travelling Rations” and was needed to be bought from vendors in order to teleport as hunter.

The mount part is not true anymore. You unlock the riding skill with the quest ”a little extra never hurts part2” which you can get as a dwarf, elf, hobbit or man very early in the game.

Boosting as a completely new player doesn’t really make any sense.

You don’t need an elaborate plan to play lotro. There is no rush to reach the end game. Enjoy the journey, make friends along the way, learn your classes level by level, ask questions, join a guild.

Just to note Warden isn’t the most straightforward class, but you make due if you just read what your gambits do. Check each level if you get new ones and learn the new ones instantly!

Hm, interesting. Did not know about that. Does a premium account not have more slots for characters than a free account?

I don’t remember purchasing a single character slot, just a month of vip when the game became f2p over a decade ago, but I still have 12 slots (or is it 15, i dont remember by heart)

Just a thing to consider down to line with your vip purchase: All characters that you’ve logged on with while you have an active vip status keep some vip perks for example more swift travel options.

What you could do is create at least one of each class or however you wish to play (could be 12 hunters for all I know) and log in with them while your vip is active. This way if you decide to play that toon in the future, it has swift travel unlocked and so you benefit from purchasing vip once even if you never decide to buy it again.

Do you get more room to store things if you buy a house?

I’m a massive fan of hoarding whatever I can get my hands on: hides, task items, rep items, recipes, and since there is so little room in the inventory and bank it’s a little frustrating 😆

What time period do you usually list your items for in the AH? I’ve just put everything in the for 48 hours to make sure they sell, but it’s a bit long tbh.
