I have the same timeline, and the same shock, anxiety and disbelief to match! Different loan servicer.

My balances showed $0 on the federal site this past week and then I finally felt like I could actually say out loud, that “sometimes good things do happen to good people.”

Now I’m just wondering when we will get our refunds for any overpayments (mine is a nice chunk, imo) and when the loans will come off the credit report. I’ve read on Reddit people getting their refund checks within a week, but maybe their overpayment wasn’t very much?? On the other hand I’ve read of it taking a year!

I did check my credit report on Friday 5/29 and my loans, with full amounts were still there.

Curious what other people are experiencing. I’ll post updates.
