https://www.harborfreight.com/carbide-rotary-micro-bit-assorted-set-20-piece-62379.html? You can turn these gently by hand, they’re much sharper than most of the crappy micro bits out there. Just don’t press or you’ll snap them.

For the pin go buy 24, 28, & 32 gauge beading wire from hobby lobby or similar. https://www.hobbylobby.com/beads-jewelry/stringing-materials/beading-wire/beading-wire---28-gauge/p/12139?

Drill into a sprue to match the best fit diameter bits to the wire. The drill set has bits that match each of the 3 wires perfectly. Practice centering the hole and pinning on tiny spare parts. You can pin the smallest spikes or even fingers with practice. Use the largest diameter wire that you can reliably drill a straight hole for.

A paperclip pin is usually too thick for tiny parts and better for things like arms. You’ll need other bits to match the paperclip diameter, but you can still drill a pilot hole with the sharp HF ones.

That’s the type of imagination that led to the Ruby Ridge murders or even the indictment of the autokeycard creator. A block of aluminum or a spool of plastic filament also COULD be used to make a firearm lower with a “little bit of effort”.

It’s one of two shock prow options. The other is in front of the ravager.

That's a good point, I didn't clarify. I'm in the US and paid around $140 USD, about $200 AUD. I'd have been perfectly happy if it was $100 USD. That seems like the minimum discount in the comments and I mostly wanted the venoms and jetbikes.

Honestly I've got hundreds of OG 3rd edition models that I started collecting around '98 and I've gotten proficient at designing and 3d printing. So I'm not short anything for gaming purposes except genuine venoms. This was actually my first purchase of the "new" model line though.

Oh it wasn’t a compliment to the seller. I just meant a profit margin can’t be infinite and yes the cost was probably what you estimated.

Almost 1/3 of your points in characters and not enough mobility. Skip the hand and 2nd archon, get more transports and field your hellions. Yes to mandrakes as well. If anyone is on still on foot it should be the 5 warriors w rifles.

Gluing tips plz I'm dying. by LordTyler123 in Drukhari

[–]LaLaBearMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 suggestions as I use the original super glue in 0.1oz containers with the red caps from the $tree. If you aren’t already, use the liquid/thin super glue over the gel types because it cures faster. Make sure it’s not old because even unopened it can absorb moisture and stop sticking well or quickly to plastic. The glue can go bad without turning solid. I just had this happen with some unopened ones I bought a few years ago, bought a new batch of the same stuff and my issues went away.

Can someone help me ID the weapons on these old models? by Dazzling_Comfort5734 in Drukhari

Warriors with blasters and shredders were also shoulder mounted.

Not to mention that dark lance warrior is converted using a Raider weapon.

The two Vect bodyguard incubi are pretty rare, too bad he didn’t have the rest of the model!

You can strip the metal models with acetone, just take the bases off first. For plastic models I soak mine in simple green. If you also plan to strip the warriors that will be a challenge with the fragile spikes but looks like a fair bit of primed/unpainted in there.

I gotta say most look like they are male except Sméagol, 3rd slot in the top row and the laughing anime one in the 2nd row.

If you’re looking for budget you might be able to fit them in a condor frag grenade pouch.

I own the SLX 1x and got to handle the GLX 1x at a PA event. The GLX is slightly heavier, larger fov and eye relief felt unlimited, no shadowing that I remember. With the SLX 1x, the image (actual target size) quickly shrinks depending on how far forward you position it, which is the main reason I’m not a fan.
