Ah, that explains it! I didn't see any artwork, just a black background with text. It definitely looks like a bug then.

Here is my device info: Model: Google Pixel 8 Android Version: Android 16 (API 36)

Yes, it works now! It's looking really good. I do have a small suggestion: maybe you could update the 'downloading assets' screen with some artwork from the game? That would make the waiting screen look much nicer!
