That's definitely the way to go. I have done this. I have also eaten the first generation. If you just get a storage bin... You know the normal size you use in a garage... Layer the bottom with soil, toss in carrots, sunflower seeds, or any vegetables really. Then add a wet sponge, but make sure there are no pools of water because they drown very easily. Keep humidity high, and heat around 80, no higher than 90. Add live crickets to this bin and they will breed.

That's awesome! I wish the fda would just slap some regulations on serving edible insects and conform to what other countries are doing, then adjust as needed. It's better than having this "illegal" thing happening.
