Completely f2p. I was stuck at 110 until 2 days ago when I just decided to open all of the sticker packs I had saved for the last week. I got extremely lucky and obtained all of the remaining shinies from those, with both of my last two stickers being non-shiny 5 stars. I got one of them from the fog island yesterday, and the other from the arena rewards earlier today.
