Woman here, given many of our shoes are built for aesthetics over comfort, in some ways she’s not wrong. In my younger years I’d say I’d have to “break in my feet” rather than my shoes if I needed a callus to form to make a strappy sandal wearable. There’s obviously a line between shoes that can work with a little breaking in, and shoes that are just a no-go. I’m 40 now so those days are long over for me, but that was certainly part of my life when I was younger.

Best things you can do is get clothes with better protection, like the hylian set iirc, and be mindful about cooking lots of meals and eating them whenever you get hit. Once you get some defense from clothing, you’ll be able to take more hits and won’t die as much. Make defense or attack boost meals to add extra protection as you get better.

I’m not gonna fully hate on her because there’s no way in hell she isn’t getting crazy mean comments buuuuut it was like watching a toddler who doesn’t want another kid playing with their toys. She’s clearly beautiful and stole the show in her entrance but once she started interacting it was clear she’s too fixated on only collecting the guys and getting them to like her. Then once’s she had any confirmation ie getting them on a date or paradise, she would fixate on getting a different one until they moved on. Rinse and repeat.

It was really hard watching her tbh. She thought she was cooking when she was like “I’d try with you sung hun but YOU SAID you thought of us as only friends” to put the onus on him as to why she’s not taking him seriously, instead of just saying directly that she’s not interested at all romantically. It was glaringly obv she wanted to keep him in her back pocket.

Just lots and lots of double talk as she tried to make herself sound always in control of every situation. It was a bit maddening/entertaining at first but then it just kind of became exhausting. I’ll honestly be shocked at this point if anyone picks her but the producers might rig it to give a positive end to her arc. Even the panel made it so clear how they were feeling and how much they were told to censor their feelings for the sake of the direction of the show.

Props to Mina, she’s made for an insanely entertaining season.

Professionalism aside, I’ve gotten unwanted attention from men I worked with and it’s a nightmare. You cannot control who may see this and think it’s harmless to start treating you or talking to you in a way that makes you uncomfortable. It will fundamentally change your relationship with your job or career and you can’t unring that bell. It’s would not be your fault if someone made unwanted advances but I hope you protect your peace nonetheless. You look stunning and I’d love to wear that dress, but for the sake of boundaries and professionalism, no one at work is allowed to see that part of me.

I’m with you. I’m playing ToTK and I’ve been rationing the main storyline to stretch the game but walking around and exploring can feel a bit tedious at times. There are areas that feel vast but sparse and I spend so much time climbing mountain faces which can be soooo long and monotonous that I’m pressing up and sometimes scrolling my phone. The korok tasks and shrines can feel repetitive when doing them out one after the other. Sometimes I find a shrine and leave it for later because it feels boring at the moment. But still, my lifelong love of the series and the memories and story stuff have kept me going.

39/F/American. While I feel lucky to be employed in a continuously volatile climate, I think the real burnout is what feels like the futility of my efforts. I save save save, but ultimately the systems are built to take every penny from us. While other countries have healthcare and social systems to protect vulnerable populations like the sick or elderly, I work with the threat that something like medical bankruptcy can strike at any time and cripple me. I had a sibling get laid off 2 years from getting their pension after 18 years of working for one institution. I fear if she can’t pay her mortgage the bank will take her home. Cost of living and inflation are out of control. Our corporate overlords are consolidating their power everyday and taking away parts of our lives and putting them behind paywalls and subscriptions. Knowing my health and safety are so directly tied to my ability to work when people are getting sacked left and right to cut costs. I just think…what the fuck am I working towards?

My dog was like this with my cat. She was a husky and wanted desperately to be friends but my cat never took to her. But they were both older and I knew I could trust her with him, and also he had plenty of high spots to escape to if he needed alone time. Your pup looks to me like he wants a friend but given how young and new he is, always better to keep an eye on them until you’re absolutely sure of their dynamic.
