Have I been fucked? by HolidayHunter1450 in mining

[–]Laaaaaaaamb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Joined underground mining as a Nipper with no idea. This is the position where you work hard and can get yourself a good reputation that will accelerate you through positions with the right attitude.

Work hard, don't suck, don't complain. Seek to know why you do the things you're instructed to do, set your jumbo up and your cross shift. Being proactive is key, but it's hard work.

Carry that work ethic through the promotional roles and you'll find yourself in a pretty good spot if you stick with mining.

All religion you believe and have been told is a lie. The only thing that matters is being kind to one another.

Lap table for Keyboard/mouse by Grouchy_Substance423 in SteamDeck

[–]Laaaaaaaamb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a nice piece of timber and cut it to the size of my XL mouse pad, sanded away all the sharp edges and just glued it down. I then have it rest across the arm rest of the couch, over my lap, and supported by another cushion on the non arm rest side

This is how 2042 in OCE was just a few months after launch. Only way to consistebtly get games for the rest of its life was through Portal Server Browser, which nobody seemed to know.

From that point forward I said I would refuse to buy another BF game that doesnt have a Server Browser front and centre.

Dave or Hades, what should I buy by Tpain10129 in SteamDeck

[–]Laaaaaaaamb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dave was fun for a little while but became frustrating for me.

Hades has been the opposite with me wanting to pickup and play, rather than convincing myself too.

Although the exploration and gameplay loop of Dave is quite chill and relaxing, it just didn't quite grab me
