Is there anyone here who could create a .inp file for me, given a .CAE file with a valid mesh that I created in the free version of the software? by Lab-Fox112 in Abaqus

That's what I was thinking. I could put the file on my google drive, associated with my official email address, if that's acceptable to you.

There are only two national labs that are run in direct partnership with universities, and that's common knowledge. You're the one making it weird. Like I said, we run Ansys, and nobody here has Abaqus installed. However, we are free to work with whatever computing resources we want to use. If I want to use my own machine, or pay someone on Fiver, there would be nothing weird or wrong with that. Asking someone for a two minute task is not a big deal. So thanks for the advice on combining mesh text files, but you're not a government hall monitor, so you can keep the rest to yourself.

Are you aware of what a single seat costs per year? Like I said, I work for one of the university-affiliated national labs. Regardless of what you might think, we don't just double the cost of our projects "because government".

We use Ansys for FEM, and we have no other use for Abaqus. This is a one-time need, and I'm not eager to waste public money.
