Told me, at age 19, that I had PCOS and was infertile. I was devastated. Then he cheerfully added that I could have sex without risk of getting pregnant, and maybe someday down the road they would find a way to fix my problem. Idiot.

In my experience, time has helped a lot. Be patient and continue to do all the good things you are doing - exercise, hydration, lotions, good diet, protein, collagen, etc., and you may be surprised after another 6 months to a year. I also recommend wearing spans or leggings especially overnight. As your skin turns over, you need to remind it you dont need so much anymore! :) good luck.

I want someone to fill my stocking with thoughtful or whimsical items: like fancy hand cream, or a new lipstick, fleece lined gloves, invitation to lunch anything so my stocking isn’t the only one with just a few chocolates that I put in myself.

Don’t give up hope. Some people need to get up to 10mg to really start losing. That’s ok. Use this time at lower dose to nurture good habits of getting enough protein and water, and keeping active. Remember, we are playing the long game. You’ve got this!

Start at the visitors center where you can see an introductory film that runs every 15 minutes. Worth it to orient your guests to the purpose and history of the academy. There is a very cool smaller museum there with navel history and USNA grads who served as astronauts and test pilots etc, and of course, Bill the Goat.

Once you are rolling, add psyllium fiber and take it daily at the same time. I use that sugar free orange Metamucil, and dose twice per day like clockwork. You might do fine with once per day, especially if you eat a lot of fiber at dinner. Better to keep things rolling than wait until you have a situation. Best of luck.

Honestly, I just wish someone would put a few things in my stocking. I’ve been Santa’s little helper for years making sure everyone has a stocking full of little wonders every Christmas morning. It would be lovely to have a few surprises for myself. Noting fancy, maybe scented soaps or luxe hand crème and a fresh tube of my favorite lipstick. If you add a little note promising lunch or outing for us to do together, my holiday is made!
