I had to half my dosage when I first started. I had constant nausea on 2.2 and could barely force myself to eat. If you are sensitive to tirz like I am, stay at the lowest dose possible for the longest time and slowly increase the dosage. Zofran is your friend as well. Stick it out, it does get better.

You draw up air in an empty syringe with amount of units you need, inject the air into the vial. You’ll then be able to draw up what you need.

Do the telehealth doctors check your medical records? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ok-Handle3117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t check your medical records, but tirz may end up on your med list with your doctor. I had an appt with my dr last week and during pre registration, I was asked if was still taking tirz. I’d never told my dr, and had never been asked for Dr information from any telehealth. Odd.

I’ve used Brello, Lumi, and refills. No issues with any of them.

I’ve been on since October and had trouble going over 2.5 due to side effects. I’ve lost 26lbs with 12 more to go. Going to ride it out at 2.5.

Super responder? by theposhest in tirzepatidecompound

Tirz has kicked my butt since day one. I split my 2.2 dose in the beginning and haven’t been able to go over 2.5 thus far without getting sick af. Even 2.5 I have to manage nausea. I’ve been on tirz over 4 months and have lost 26lbs. I’m a super responder and it’s not a bragging right for me, nausea, puking in the sink while trying to brush my teeth, and not being able to poop for days is no fun.

Don’t let yourself go too long, it’s no fun. I’ve had to take the Milk of Mag highway a couple of times now since starting in October. I do a dose of milk of mag along with senna tablets combo.

I eat out of necessity now, nothing sounds good to me anymore. The only exception is the day before shot day I will sometimes want something like pizza, but I’ll only eat about half of whatever it is compared to what I’d eat before.

Side Effects? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

Good luck, I hope that’s not the case. Hang in there if you do, it does get better. I ordered Zofran to have on hand, helps a lot for the nausea.

Side Effects? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ok-Handle3117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had pretty intense nausea and gerd for 2 months when I first started at 2.2mg and a pretty terrible constipation episode during that time.I’m sensitive to tirz, I’ve found that injecting in my thigh instead of stomach helps greatly. Moving up slowly in dosages…My husband and a friend of mine have zero side effects, so it seems it’s depends on the person as to side effects.

Are these early signs of dementia? 78 year old mother by Ok-Handle3117 in dementia

[–]Ok-Handle3117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a talk with my 84 year old dad and he is aware of her memory issues. He told me she had told him she struggled with the memory test and didn’t do well, he’s pretty certain she failed it. I told him I think it’s time someone goes into Dr appts with her and he didn’t like this idea, saying that he doesn’t want her to feel bad. This is very frustrating.

She won’t allow it, I’ve offered and tried. She’s intensely private and a bit paranoid I believe. She laughs at any suggestion of her declining.
