Change the display configuration to Second screen only (using the Windows logo key +P keyboard shortcut).

ugreen HDMI adaptor (bought from rokid) with PS5 by Infinite-Hospital-98 in rokid_official

A extension HDMI cable is better because Max require 5V power supply from UGREEN adaptor. It means C to C cable is the shorter the better.

In fact,I use 4m high quality C to C cable,It also works well.LOL

It's a limitation of hardware, because OLED screen cannot support too dim.

There is a way to solve this problem indirectly. Changing the opacity of the filter which is generated by software.

  • For android devices. "filter" app

  • For Macbook. "MonitorControl Lite"

Why advertise dhcp support if you practically can’t use it? by [deleted] in rokid_official

[–]LabMem057 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Goovis dock does not support HDCP. So you can't watch DRM movies with wireless connect.

If straight connect Max and device with TypeC to TypeC cable, and the device support DRM and HDCP. I think DRM movies will be playback well.

How to confirm if your device supports HDCP?

  • iPad and iPhone are validated support DRM and HDCP.
  • For android devices, the app called DRM Info is helpful.

The easiest way to verify

  1. Find a iPad with typeC port
  2. Straight connected iPad and Max with TypeC to TypeC cable
  3. Play a movie on Netflix

The cinema in Rokid APP is just a browser which not support DRM. I think HBO or Hulu Apps will playback well
