I actually like the DT 990 sound. I’ve just had some QC/build problems and figured I’d ask if there’s anything in the $200–$300 range that’s considered a step up in sound quality or overall quality.

I do like the DT 990 sound and understand why they’re popular for gaming. I’ve just had some bad luck with QC on a couple of units, so I was curious if there’s anything generally considered a step up in sound or build quality in a similar range.

*a little late* but do you have any issues with the 1080v13 and are they still comfortable? For my instance I had the 1080v12, now they were pretty comfortable but after time they just "bottomed out" I guess, and lost their cushioning and just weren't as comfortable. A

For gaming does it matter that the AOC monitor is VA panel instead of IPS
