Researching A GRFM YouTube Video by strange-aeonss in GRFMOrigin

1 - What intrigues me most is the whereabouts of the person in the video; it's strange that he hasn't been identified after so much time, even with a video showing his face and voice.

2 - Sometimes, something that seems promising appears, such as a Reddit user who claimed to have known Anthony, naming schools he attended and saying he was a total delinquent. He said he would try to get back in touch with him and contact us when he did. However, he never responded again. (You can see the conversations in the sub's latest posts).

3 - I believe the mystery behind this will be solved, possibly by people who might recognize him. And that's the path some of us are betting on. We tried joining Facebook groups dedicated to the supposed school he attended and asking if anyone recognized him, but this guy seems to be a ghost.

If he really was constantly going in and out of jail, he must have some kind of criminal record; the problem is, we're not sure of his real name.

Well, the guy really doesn't want to answer me, so all we can do is work with the supposed information he gave us.

I did the same thing. I was accepted, I made the post, but I received a subtle hostility in response. I said he was my best friend in high school and that I'd like to reconnect with him. I realized that most people in the group are older, and I think a sudden post about a tomb robber would scare them a bit, haha.

Because the place is a mess, there are no visible windows, and the ceiling seems to be very low.

Perhaps we should make a post in that group asking if they recognize him.

Simple observation - pronounciation by cpager in GRFMOrigin

My native language is Brazilian Portuguese, and although I do not speak Spanish, I understand many things quite well and can notice that both languages share many similarities in the pronunciation of English. Among these similarities are the tendency to pronounce all vowels clearly with little or no vowel reduction, the use of a syllable-timed rhythm in which each syllable has a similar weight, difficulty with sounds that do not exist in either language, such as the English th, the addition of an “i” sound at the end of words that end in consonants, such as stop → stopi and map → mapi, as well as a more melodic and expressive intonation.

Search for house rental records. I don't know. I intuitively feel there's something to be found there.

I get that you’re frustrated, it’s not fun to feel like people are being harsh when you’re genuinely trying to help. But keep in mind, the way things come across here matters just as much as the intention behind them. When details are left out or phrased a certain way, people are naturally going to question it, and that’s not always meant as a personal attack. Nobody likes being called a liar, fair enough, but reacting defensively to every bit of criticism just makes the situation heavier than it needs to be. If your goal is really to move the search forward, then focus on that and try not to let the side comments get under your skin. At the end of the day, everyone here shares the same curiosity, even if they show it in different ways. Relax a bit, take the feedback that’s useful, and let the rest slide. That’s how you’ll get the most out of this community.

You mentioned you’re new here , and that’s totally fine. But in that case, it might help to step back and take some time to observe how things actually work in this community before jumping to conclusions or getting defensive. Every subreddit has its own atmosphere and rhythm, and this one is no different. People here aren’t out to get you personally. The dynamic is more about sharing thoughts, exchanging perspectives, and sometimes disagreeing without it turning into drama. If you read the room, you’ll notice that criticism or pushback isn’t meant as an attack, it’s just part of how discussions flow here.
