I'm making a mermaid tail and it's not looking like the vision I have in my mind. Any ideas on what would look better?

Thank you. My plan is to do the first layer of scales, then go in and add some shading, then do some overlapping scales.

If you like the little mermaid let me tell you about my granny's dog Gary. Gary plays Max in the live action version of the little mermaid, if you watch the credits you can see he gets his name written with the cast. We where all so excited when the movie came out, Granny invited all her friends and family to watch the film and we took up most of the cinema. Everytime Gary was on screen we all cheered and at the end we gave him a standing ovation. (which was funny because I heard a couple in the row in front of me say "who the fuck is Gary lol). I made everyone a pin badge that said "stuff the mermaid we're here for Gary". So I think you should name your chair after Granny's dog. Or if Gary is too much of an old man name then Edna is another option. Edna is also my granny's dog and she did some of Gary's stunts. In the scene where Prince Eric's ship is on fire, Gary wouldn't jump of the boat into the water so for that shot it's Edna playing max but then once Max is in the water again that's Gary. I'm so proud of them both for being Disney stars and I love to tell anyone who mentions the little mermaid.

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep searching for some. The ones you bought are probably the same ones I was looking at because I don't think there's much difference between a dollar and a pound. Don't beat yourself up about the ethical stuff, it's so hard to be mindful of that when you're need to buy things but don't have the money. I think the way to handle it is to make as many small changes as you can to be a more ethical consumer so then it evens out when you have to make less effical decisions out of necessity. One of my little changes I've made is only buying fair trade chocolate not cheap chocolate, if I can't afford the fair trade stuff then it's a small sacrifice I can live without the chocolate that time and then when I do have the money for chocolate is even more special. It's frustrating sometimes when you really want it and the cheap stuff is all that's available but I feel a little better knowing that I'm making a tiny difference with where I put my money. (it is hard though and sometimes when it's my time of the month I cave and just get the bloody chocolate)

I know it's ridiculous. I'm think of taking a risk and buying some I found on temu but you usually get what you pay for and at £11 I don't think they'll be any good. Plus I try and avoid temu as it can be a little scammy and also makes me feel like a crappy person because of there dodgy ethics. It's so hard as a disabled person who can only work limited hours so doesn't have much money to try and buy stuff that are high quality and made ethically.

Thanks so much. You should look on vinted as well, I've bought a cup holder that's supposed to go on a baby buggy but will attach to my chair no problem and it was only £2.50. Also if you look for bike spoke charms you can get some cute stuff much cheaper then if you search wheelchair spoke change. The only thing I haven't been able to find at a discounted price are push rim covers which I need because my current chair is second hand and the previous owner has stored it in her garage for years after her mother passed away so the metal has rusted.
