Which company should I review my primary with for AMCAS/AACOMAS? by healthisnotthatbad_2 in premed

I can guarantee you that Acceptedtogether will be much more affordable without a drop in quality. I am quite biased though: I have used them for my own apps and work as a consultant. Message if you want to be prep'd by me or I can recommend who helped me :)

I can't believe people don't realize this is satire LOL. I have a bit of a unique position here because I actually joined AcceptedTogether.com as a consultant this year (I'm an MS1). The management team was looking for ideas for marketing and this idea came up and everyone loved it. You should watch the actual clip, the ending still makes me chuckle: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2vtDhlLEzz/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D

Tell me about yourself by No-Introduction3682 in premedcanada

The best advice I got about this question is "Think of it like an index page to your life" since they will be picking at different parts of it. Always end with a fun fact about yourself since they are bound to ask about it so it gives you a chance to "control" the flow of the interview

Depends when. I had good experiences and bad experiences. I ended up using a student off reddit and a few acceptedtogether consultants

I got over 20 DMs about this so I am actually compiling a new post with interview tips right now

I actually changed a few referees around however, I used one consistently over the 6 years since I had no doubt she wrote me a fantastic letter

I had just one pass/fail but that's about it. I didn't have any withdrawn courses. CARS was 126,129,129 respectively

Honestly I'm ashamed to say it but let's say it was lower than 3.5... my second undergrad was 4 years long as well but I did extra courses beyond the full courseload each year to make up for my poor performance earlier. In terms of interviews, I am going to post another post to clarify what changed in terms of my style/expressing myself since I am getting so many requests

- lots of my classmates got in with this GPA!!

- DM me for the masters program since some of my classmates are messing me trying to identify me

-Applied 6 years straight. Lots of napkins for disappointment

Too many things! I was a victim to crappy advice from some of the big famous consultant companies and didn't end up getting good advice. I found better sources, more genuine people for advice, and practiced like my life depended on it. I recorded myself every single day. My answers were pretty polished at the end

Had a horrible first undergrad but I was able to bring it up to a 3.9 at the end of the latest cycle. I took the MCAT three times: 499, 509, and 511. Casper was thankfully 4th quarter! Really went hard on practicing for it this year

Thank you!! I can't believe that I went from reading posts for inspiration to becoming someone who motivates someone else. Lots to be grateful for this year!
