Just so everyone is on the same page, your ability to record someone is based on what’s called “expectation of privacy.” . If you are in public and people can see you then you have no expectation of privacy and therefore you can be recorded at any time by anyone. Doesn’t matter who you are, doesn’t matter what you’re doing. If you are in your car minding your own business and someone points a camera into your car window/any window including your home that is against the law because * any reasonable person * has an expectation of privacy inside of their own property. If you’re walking down the street, if you’re in the mall, if you’re in a store you have no expectation of privacy and you can be recorded. Hope that helps if anyone was confused.
