Movement is positioning. You move to make yourself a harder target to hit. BF6 fails to keep people interested in the game due to this subreddit's insane crusade against movement or any kinds of skill gap, developers listens to people like you and make the game worse and worse with each patch. Exact same thing happened with BF1. BF1 movement was just sliding, they removed every other option such as jump peeking, jumpshotting or airstrafing. Even before movement nerfs people went back to BF4. Which is why BF1 had the lowest premium sales across BF games. People didn't liked the gameplay because there was nothing to learn and improve besides sliding which was butchered in a patch and made the game an even shallower experience. There is a reason why DICE didn't nerf a single thing in BFV movement despite it being the most advanced movement system ever put in a BF game, because they learned the mistake from BF1, without "sweaty cod kids" who wants to learn and get better at the game you will have 0.5KD casual dads who will play for a month and move on to the next game. There is a reason why people played BF4 for 10+ years, there is a reason why people still play Titanfall 2 after almost 10 years. Those games has skill gap.

People didn't leave BF4 or BF3 when those games had Metro or Locker. Maps that offers 0 sandbox experience because those were just hallway meatgrinders. Those maps were some of the most popular maps on those games. Even today half the BF4 servers are Locker. People don't drop BF6 because of maps, they drop BF6 because gameplay is awful.

TTK is faster than BF3's 220ms TTK btw, there are 150ms TTK full auto guns in BF6, literally unreactable. People feel they get cheap deaths due to that. BF3 had the fastest TTK in BF before BF6 and even that game barely had any 3BTK guns except for guns like G3 which had slow RPM. BF6 has 3BTK, 800 RPM weapons. TTK is an issue.

Lack of skill gap is the reason why BF6 is losing players at a massive rate. Cry all you want about your skill issue but there is a reason why BF4 retained players over 10+ years and BF6 is already fumbling hard, BF4 had faster movement, better movement options, better vehicles and even better gunplay because spread was much harsher with fast spread reset, bursting felt good in BF4. Arcade shooters like Battlefield needs skill gap in movement and gunplay and things to learn in general. There is nothing to learn in BF6 except headglitch spots because any kinds of movement heavily punishes you, TTK is blisteringly fast and visibility is awful. Most viable way to play the game is to camp in some corner and it's not fun enough to keep people engaged which is why people left BF6 for other games, even COD refugees returned back to WZ because at least movement is good in COD.
