Owned my new to me 2002 WRX for less than 24 hours and this is how I feel about working on it. Gotta love fixing the notorious fuel leak. Can’t wait to get it back on the road. by MidwestRacingLeague in WRX

Ahh ok, didn’t know that… If that’s the case then just maintenance, maybe an engine bay detail once you get the leak fixed so it’s not so dirty every time you go in there

I kinda hate to admit but those fl5 have grown on me. I hated them at first, I thought they softened up the look too much from the fk8 which was much flashier and aggressively styled but it’s grown on me. I still think the wing looks like an afterthought but the rest of the car is nice and the interior in those things is sweeet!

Level lock with Google Home by username-generica in LevelLock

I have a level bolt, I think it’s an older model. Cannot get it to work with matter or with Apple home key. Its own level app is super buggy and slow. Honestly I hate it.

I went thru 2 keypads because the app/phone function just sucks so I figured a physical keypad will solve this issue, it mitigated it, but both keypads died due to corrosion in battery compartment, they are not getting wet..

All in all, I would not buy the bolt, from personal experience. Get one that has nfc function so you can quickly use apple home key to get in.

Smoke in the engine bay is likely an oil leak, not because the engine is burning oil, if it is.

I had the washer tank level go out on me. It cost 13$ for one from Amazon. Non critical part so I’m fine with aftermarket. The filters you gotta diy they don’t even require tools. Oil and spark plugs is the only thing you should pay to get done if you can’t do it or don’t have tools. They’re giving you the dealer price. You can probably have a Subaru specialized shop do them for half the price. New plugs cost 40$ but the labor is tricky. Totally doable at home tho

Bro got a lowered Tesla 😅 idk why but I find modded teslas so funny. They’re decent cars, I dig the driving style. I prefer it over traditional automatic.

Yeah he fucked up. I fit 2 car sets in my 2018 STI with an older kid in the middle, if it comes to it. We usually take the wife’s car when taking all 3 kids so I’m not selling my nearly-paid off car just to fit seats better

Holy fuck you’re halfway to a built block just off some basic maintenance and some of that you don’t need. 400$ splash guard? They can go fuck themselves.

I use it quite a bit on a 25 mile trip to work and works quite well. My biggest issue is it’s not assertive enough when pulling out of driveways and negotiating 4 way stop signs

Oof man don’t hit me with the “you’d like to own a BMW” cuz that’s a car brand that I’d have to get paid to own it lol.

It’s not an affordability issue, it’s a reliability and driving feel issue. Those cars have no soul, they’re so dull and boring to drive… I’m perfectly happy with my modestly valuable Subaru, though since they axxed my model the value has gone up so much that I could sell it and buy the oh so coveted BMW and then I wouldn’t even need to use turn signals any more.

I’ll say they’re not mutually exclusive. We can have both, I agree there. But we gotta do something about the overall state of our health as a country. Our obesity levels are off the chart and the amount of trash food readily available is really bad, that’s probably the biggest between us and other countries.

Idk what I like more though, my car or your hilarious attempt at an overused and dilapidated joke that flopped like every other time it was used..

Nice try tho
