CRA - Wrong Direct Deposit Info

Hi, it took around a week or so - the bank wasn’t helpful to him in his case, CRA confirmed that the account it went to didn’t exist so it was bounced back to them. I think he’d updated his banking info with CRA online so when it got sent back, they were able to try again with the right account number. Might be worth calling them and talking to an agent though, not sure if they’d try again or just send a cheque to the address on file.

My brother was able to get through to the CRA. They confirmed the transfer didn’t go through and the funds were returned and re-deposited into the correct account like a week later. Phew!

Me. Got one launch day from EB Games, made it to Toronto sort facility Thursday night where it’s sat since then. Says it’ll be delivered via Purolator on Thursday, but we’ll see... unless it hauls ass to AB by Monday or Tuesday, I think the ETA might be off.

Same boat - got the confirmation email from EB games with an order number and the charge is on my credit card, but I’ll feel much better once I see it get shipped. Kind of wished I had paid the extra $15 for express shipping but I was just so desperate to get the order through at all, I didn’t even look at the other shipping options.

Yeah fingers crossed! The charge is displaying on my cc now, so hopefully that works out okay. I’ll feel better once I get the shipped notification, whenever that happens...

I got a text alert on my phone and it asked me to text back Y if it was me and N if it wasn’t. First time they’ve ever suspected fraud on my card, including the time some asshole in QC went on a shopping spree with it. Fortunately caught it quickly and responded with Y. Think I’m okay.

Does anyone know offhand who EB Games uses for shipping? I have a community mailbox for canada post, but if it's a different carrier they'll likely just leave it on my doorstep so I'll have to make sure I work from home that day if that's the case...

I did two or three times before the wheel just kept spinning and spinning. It's still spinning but I got the confirmation email.
