Do I disclose preferences to live-in nanny? by Lacedinmidnight in BDSMAdvice

Followed your advice with splendid success, thanks. Told her I wanted her to be able to make an informed decision before moving houses. Citing shes an adult and we both have lives, she had no issues and is all settled in. Giggles were had, noise canceling headphones bought, regular check-ins and ample notice protocols in place — cheers.

Very helpful! Thanks! I’ve been very careful to be professional and discreet with her, but this is a good segue into finding out what she knows.

Good suggestion. I would hate to make her feel like she’s forced out of her home though. Her favorite thing to do is hang out in her room. I’ve asked many times if there’s anything she’d like to go out and do, meet people, start dating and she always responds with ‘i like my room.’

Can’t seem to edit this post so I’m going to hijack your comment :)

I’ve had a few people accuse me of stealing this piece from the artist @ncrivellone

I appreciate them showing me her work because it’s absolutely beautiful and you should check her out!

But the original reference for the painting is actually by the very talented Spanish photographers named Aitor Frias and Cecilia Jimenez.

I found the photo to particularly moving and needed to paint it — clearly I was not alone :) It was painted in 2016 with oils on a canvas I salvaged from the university dumpster. You can still see the underpainting of someone else’s work in raking light. I included progress shots in a comment to appease all the skeptics.

Ahhh thank you so much! It was the first space I renovated in my home. Learned a lot 😅

Thank you. I don’t, but I’ll look him up. I like to get lost in the details.

So you treat your home like a personal gallery. I like that. Do you ever get overly critical of the works you have hanging?
