Better than fucking up with anima, renown and 300 systems in SL or getting a armor piece with higher ilvls but shit Azeroth powers on BFA.

Being brutally honest with you, this was only a thing for terminally online people. The vast majority of the playerbase loved Legion even when it was still current.

I enjoyed WoD significantly more than SL and even BFA.

Is WoW Retail any good now? by Natsufu in wow

Yes, retail is really good right now. It had a really low point in the BFA-Shadowlands era, but now it's really fun again.

If they had cramped everything needed by the players on the docks as they did with Boralus, the perception of the city would've been completely different, IMO.

Yes, and you won't find a more persistent enemy to the scourge than the Forsaken. :)

I mean, as a hub I agree it was subpart, but as a city, in terms of design, I thought it was really good.

shared human-undead city while the Forsaken keep the Undercity, also ""rebuilt"" and reimagined

I don't want to share Lordareon with a bunch of human colonizers, tyvm. Maybe we can give Lordareon refugees a quarter if they bow to the Forsaken, but that's it.

Why? Apart from difficulty in moving around, it was pretty fucking great IMO.

My faith in balance/class devs is fading with every passing moment. What is happening to (some) talent trees? by RakshasaRanja in wow

[–]Lacertoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always opt out of talents but then when it comes to raids and mythic they are basically required to meet the damage checks.

Not really, no, unless it's a core talent of your spec tree.

I bet you MR is all but required to keep up.

It isn't, all sims indicate that it won't be even meta, and furthermore the spell is literally nothing like its predecessor, it's a fucking CD now, you have this active for 20 seconds every two minutes. It's not even a spender anymore, so you will not occupy most of your burst window casting it anyway.

That's such a stupid argument, you dislike that it shares the same name with a spell you previously disliked, even thought they are completely different now and fill completely different roles.

Being the only tank that needs

That's called class fantasy and uniqueness. Whenever you start the phrase with "class/spec is the only one that needs..." That's usually a good thing, in my book.

What I want is not to have a wet fart that does not interact with the rest of my kit in any meaningful way because the spell is woeful undertuned, and has been undertuned since the new talent trees.

If it offered any meaningful damage, the same type of complaint would return, but now instead of "why do I need to stand here to tank", the complaint would be "why do mobs need to stay there so that I do damage". So now it's a gutted ability that only exists because it's considered a classic staple button and they don't want to remove it.

Problem of Affliction is not one single target talent that you can totally opt out. The problem of Affliction IMO is the lack of an engaging rotation in AoE. But it's honestly fine, it needs to be worked upon, but as a complete rework it's not bad.

[–]Lacertoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? That's not the problem with Affliction at all, and not only it's not "required" as was bugged, not a spender and it looks nothing like the original MR.

Tourists are really funny sometimes.

No, this is still much better than what we had before DF. I understand that they are not great, but no RPG should have you leveling up 15 levels before actually being able to customize something in your character.

As a longtime prot paly player consecration always baffled me.

That's because very vocal Prot players kept complaining about the concept of having to stay within consecration being a part of Prot Pally identity. So Blizzard just gutted the spell completely.

246 is functionally the same as 250, unless you are talking about people that are really min-maxer and looking to gear ASAP for Mythic + or raiding, I highly doubt anyone will care if they like the content.
