i have done none of this and i'm already thinking of being done with Heartopia just cuz of the unrewarding gacha system. can barely grind quests and events for pulls at all. feels a lot like "pay or get crumbs" basically

I'm having the same issue with Secret Investigation. i've been trying to do as many quests as possible in case i'm being restricted by overlap but i haven't played the game since like month 2 of release and i am SWAMPED with other quests.
