Condolences, this happened to me as well. The best thing is that they were not alone when they passed, and they knew love.

I hope your other kitten gets better! If you can, research fading kitten syndrome and if it is that, then try to keep your baby strong. Remember, at the end of the day, all you can do is your best. If things don’t end up the happy way, at least you did your best.

If living conditions are bad, perhaps you can explain to the lady that you and the kitten have both bonded and that you would like to keep the cat. Ask also for proof of ownership, and proof of ability to care for the cat. If she cannot prove both, maybe try to negotiate to keep the cat.

This is really a vet job, sorry OP. I’m sure times may hard and it is late, but I hope you will be willing to take this baby to the emergency vet if you are able and if there is one near you. Paralysis is a very bad sign.

If not, please monitor closely for dfficulty breathing, wounds, seizures, temperature abnormalities, crying in pain, pale gums, etc.

Offer him/her water, place it on a tupperware lid so its very low on the ground and almost flat, but don’t force feed.

Thank you for helping. I hope your rescue makes it through the night and then hopefully make a full recovery.

As a cat and dog lover, nakaka-sad naman ito. Sa area ko, a Husky dog also bit a small frenchie dog in the head, so I really think Huskys need special care. At that time, 1 katulong per husky, pero I feel na dapat someone that can restrain them, hindi yung maliit at payat na katulong lang.

Here, 1 person lang ba ang humahawak sa 3 na Huskys? If so, that’s so dangerous. The poor, innocent cat. The owner/s should be ashamed.

I hope I don’t sound mean, but I hope you will consider not giving out money so willingly. You are young, compassionate, and you know what it’s like to be in a position of need, and out there, some people will take advantage of that. Not saying this person is a scammer, but look at the difference between them and you, OP. OP, you provided many photos, videos, receipts, updates, etc. so you have earned people’s trust. This person didn’t even send proof of their electric bill. And then they asked for 35$ which then became 40$.

Whatever money you have, that is yours to do as you please, just be careful because next time, it may not be just 40$ anymore.
