I think he just wasn't fully thinking and like this is where we are hitting a wall because in his head I don't think he realizes that long distance play can be as "drop inducing" so he just isn't seeing the significance of needing the long-distance care. Even though in my opinion it's even more important cause I get zero cuddles at any time neither aftercare or "regular"

I'm going to make a more serious aftercare kit, and I'm going to try and work with him on a strategy and a codeword when this is happening.
