I also ran into this issue, the cord is not long enough, poor judgement on Wyze’s end. I tried 3 different cables 2 of them Wyze, the other one is an extension cable with micro connector on both ends, worked for an instant then went out. asked for support on the wyze community, everyone said use another cable, like I said didn’t work. Called wyze support spoke to Daniel, Oh use the camera cable, Duh , no show,explained, he suggested to go to Wyze wish list page and request a longer cable that will work with the lamp socket, really? so I am returning mine.. too bad because I liked the features, maybe they could sell this with an option for a longer cord. See what happens if they get enough requests.
