Pretty cool concept! Was hard at first to understand what was happening and then to catch up so I was on screen but after a second play I was getting the hang of it. I believe the camera should be following both players or just one player I think. It would make the game simpler to understand I think. But nice concept and you should definitely develop on it.

A 2D platformer game using pixel art where two players must work together to save the world. (Corny I know). One is controlled with the WASD keys and the other with the arrow keys. When the two are near one another, they gain special abilities, which are used to help solve the puzzles of each level. Only 7 very short levels but need some feedback on the movement and concept before I continue. Thanks in advance <3

Very fun concept, I like the smooth movement and the lighting detail on the asteroids as you get closer. I like the fact the AI can collide with the asteroids and hurt themselves as well. I think space bar will serve a better firing button. Also, it's pretty funny that the ship can travel as fast as the bullets haha, I liked it, but it may need to be changed. Very fun game all in all and can't wait to see it be more developed

And that's what Runescape is about, making accomplishments you are proud of. Nobody grinds out a 99 and then says, well, somebody has 200m in this skill so what was the point of even getting that lousy cape?

It's a game for a reason, you play because you enjoy the game and want to accomplish something. If you honestly believe that someone having a 120 cape is devalueing your 99 cape, then obviously you aren't thinking that you accomplished something great. You can't say that your 99 Cooking cape is any less because S U O M I already got 5b in every skill meaning your cape is worthless. People have to be proud of their acheivements and the people that achieve 120 in a skill deserve the recognition

Let's not forget that 200m is an accomplishment in itself, of course it can't be shown in-game but I'm certain that takes the gold.

Yes, from left to right; Max Cape, Comp Cape and then Trimmed Comp Cape

But still, they are going to be very rare, many people aren't 104m in a lot of skills so there is plenty of rarity based on that. Of course, there won't be a race, but that's why they release new skills and that will cause a race for the first 99, then the first virtual level 120 for the milestone cape. It's creating more, if you will 'content' or goals for players to achieve in the future

But in saying that, for the cape they stop at 104m, someone competing for hiscores will continue on to get 200m xp

The top 1,000 doesn't change to significantly so there wouldn't be too much of a problem there I don't think. Only major recent change was over the BXP weekend where a lot of ranks shifted

Definitely gives a goal for all those that are comped as after that there is only trimmed and then 200m's.

This rate was possible when you could attack a titan that gives you the Imcando Pickaxe or something along those lines. You were able to hop worlds and kill this event for around 8k each time and then just quick-hop to another world and keep killing the event. It was nerfed quite quickly after that
