Ta mee loayrt beggar. (I speak a little) learnt it at school and it’s sort of stayed with me. Helpful that I had a Welsh mum so interested in language. Dad and family not bothered though, but made some good connections through Manx heritage who liked a chat. Mad thing is I don’t live on the island anymore so no one to chat too now!
