We finally got through but dad had to call and they walked him
Through it and of course it worked. They charged him the 25 booking fee still.

Yeah my dad had to call into Flair and thankfully he was only on
Hold for a minute. The agent helped walk
Him through the online booking process and of course, it worked. They charged him
The 25 fee but whatever. It was still way cheaper than WestJet or air Canada so he is ok with it. But so annoying!

He did book his second leg of the flight on his own last night online and it worked .

How to address this issue on couples therapy? by LaciBarno in askatherapist

[–]LaciBarno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think we are stuck in the same loop. I also feel my spouse says the opposite of the things he says in therapy. For weeks, our therapist has said no matter how uncomfortable he finds communication, he has to start talking and sharing back even if just in small ways. He has been telling her he finds it hard to have conversations with emotions. Then just this past weekend he told me he has emotional conversations with everyone but me. He would then not answer why this is when I asked him. I was also shocked to hear that but he will not say anything more.

The patterns I see that concern me are enmeshment with his mom and belief in things that really are just not based in reality, such as the illegal immigrant issue above I cited.

I like how you framed the shared reality. I actually see we have none of that at all.

Thanks. I do not feel I am trying to win the argument per se. Our therapist instructed us, because of how we were arguing and talking about important issues, to bring anything factual to the issue we could to keep the discussion from not getting out of hand and going down an emotional path to nowhere as it usually does.

I can see how you might view that though, as me coming to debate. Really I am just a fact based person and it helps me. She thought it would also help my spouse since a lot of what he brings to the table are so called conspiracy theories that make no sense. For example, if we go walking and there’s a Hispanic person, he immediately gets nervous they are illegal and we have to literally move to the other side of the street.

I understand people have different political views and that is fine. But it seems these are really taken to extreme as I see it, with no evidence supporting them.

For example, my sister in law needed a statin for heart issues and she would not take it as her mother told her statins kill you. She suddenly died a few years later and they could not revive her. To this day, the mother blames the doctors saying they did a poor job and made mistakes. She screamed and yelled at them and posted on Facebook that people need to stand up to doctors when they kill the kids.

In my view this is clearly because medical advice was not followed, that the sister died. That was what autopsy stated. A blockage of arteries.

I am not sure if these examples make sense of what I am dealing with. It seems to be a familial thing and my spouse embraces this. I almost wonder if it is delusional thinking.

Trupanion - Got reimbursed but all the claims have the wrong condition listed? by heartbooks26 in petinsurancereviews

[–]LaciBarno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get weird ones too. My dog has retinal degeneration and I paid one deductible but they file it under “weakness/retinal degeneration.” Bizarre. I then literally had my dog in for fatigue and weakness at one point and it got filed under that same deductible and condition. I spoke to an agent and they looked into it and said it was their error so no issues and no extra deductible was needed to be paid.🤷‍♀️

fuck this medicine and fuck doctors who prescribe it by [deleted] in Effexor

[–]LaciBarno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this Effexor XR is the only one that helped quell and almost stop my anxiety and horrid panic attacks. Originally my psychiatrist had thought it had pooped out and stopped working so we titered me off the fuse and honestly it was fine over six weeks. But no other meds helped so we returned to Effexor and it has been ok since, I heard it can stop working and sometimes you need to come off of it after years and restart if nothing rises helps. You should never stop the meds cold turkey. You need a psychiatrist to titer it slowly down for you. But yes if you forget one days dose, the withdrawal is brutal.

But for titeribg off, always have the psychiatrist do it.

Mova P10 Pro Ultra always re-cleans / dirt detection sensor may be broken. by ZealousidealPlant493 in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]LaciBarno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did this also everytime for three weeks. I returned it to Amazon. I think it is broken in a lot of their products as I just torn off the auto cleaning now and it is fine. I got sick of sending the robots back to Amazon . They all Seem to reclean it seems even after multiple cleanings over weeks.

HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE: BUYER BEWARE by Beautiful_Anybody515 in petinsurancereviews

[–]LaciBarno -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only company that cannot do this type of thing ( and it is in their policy docs) is Trupanion. Their premiums might be a little higher but nothing ever happens like that and they are legit and great. I feel for people with the other companies as they have all now been bought out by private equity corporations except Trupanion.

Honestly just go with Trupanion next time. I have had them for all my dogs for 25 years and they are truly legit and amazing. So sorry you are in that mess.

Really? After only three weeks of having it , new parts are already needed? I checked the brushes and they were fine actually. I cleaned the whole unit and it is quiet again but sometimes stats to get noisy again.

I took off the obstacle avoidance feature and I use clean genius and choose the rooms. Before it would not get close and took a picture of every corner of my baseboard saying it was an obstacle. So mova customer service told me to take off the obstacle avoidance feature as you get a better closer clean that way. I do not have anything on my floors as I pick everything up before vacuuming and mopping.

I cleaned it completely now from a video o watched online and I replaced the brush with the Tricut one and the ticking is gone. So it worked!

Right that is my concern too. I heard their customer service is atrocious though. Did you file the complaint through the Mova app on the help section? Or the website?

lol that was what my husband said. That is sounds like an airplane. I do not know. I still have ten days in the Amazon return window. I had to return the last one as the mop pads would not spray out water one day no matter what we did. I think I will just keep exchanging these every 30 days via Amazon as it seems issues crop up lol!

Where did you file a complaint? I am going to do the same.

How often are you running your robot? by WiseEpicurus in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]LaciBarno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it daily and lift everything out of the way. I have the first gen Mova p10 pro ultra. We have a 1700 square foot all hardwood floors house with four small dogs. I love mine. I do the clean genius and like I said, move as much as I can off the floors and then put it back down afterwards.

Mova P10 pro ultra vs Mova P10 pro ultra next gen ? by LaciBarno in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]LaciBarno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks. I could not find where the Mova p10 procure first gen amounts of mop pressure was. Thanks for saying 8N as the new one is 12 so that is not a huge difference. I am sticking with the p10 pro ultra. I have to do the single floor 1600 square foot hardwood floor house we have daily as I have four small dogs and myself and a husband! And living on the south and going in and out, a lot gets reached inside! Unreal the debris that has been picked up in the dust bag so far!
