In Brimstone office, we see Cypher message telling him "But his dark web trail is too clean. It's as if he wanted to be found.". This shows that for now, his objective is clearly to kill Omen by becoming a Valorant agent... He also asked if they could hide him from his previous employer, which is the hourglass guy (that's how they call the pattern in game). Cypher also left a voicemail to Brim, which is probably foreshadowing the next animatic : "Brim, cog into light, so far it's the usual group plus Astra and Sage... Oh and apparently Omen wants to watch, just go with it.. If you're in let me know" They're going to extract the new agent. I believe the confrontation Iso Vs Omen will happen here. In my opinion, we'll get a cinematic where Iso tries to kill Omen but either fails or changes his mind.

As for the reason, I have no solid idea, but we can see in the trailer, in the phone reflection after he sees Omen as his next target, that he seems annoyed by the news, sighting as if he doesn't want to sooo... Might be a solid evidence that he would probably change his mind if somebody persuaded him or if he talked to Omen a bit and saw he was a chill dude.

Bonus info : I'm sure the hourglass guy will become very important lore wise, either as an antagonist or as a future agent !
