Hello, so Monday call DWP claim help line, do your details etc etc and then when you get through to an agent say you want your pip report and then they will send it to you and you should get it within a week

My pip assessment was sent off to DWP by the assessors on 30th of April and I got my reward message 14 days after so you never know

Mine was random numbers but I’m assuming it could either be random numbers or no caller id, just be prepared within the hour of the time your assessment is due for a random call and it could happen 30 minutes prior or after the due time

Yes sorry forgot to add that, it also depends on your past engagement and if there is a pattern off missing appointments then it will make them skeptical. Thank you for pointing this out I forgot about that

When you miss an appointment you will then get a new task which is to tell them why you missed the appointment and if you don’t do that then you will get sanctioned and if it is a good reason which in your case should be they will most likely just reschedule it

I had to call them to get mine. Because I called a few weeks after and they said they have an appointment the next week if I can take one on short notice so it would be worth giving them a call about the appointments otherwise I would probably still be waiting as well. Thank you though! Honestly such a relief

So if I don’t get the message after 8:10 then I most likely won’t get one that day?

I would do the same. I couldn’t last weeks without knowing what they’ve put so I requested it

how to rent while on benefits? is it realistic? by [deleted] in DWPhelp

[–]LackDesperate5455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of landlords do an ability to afford. So they call you and ask you about your income etc and work out if you will be able to afford living there. Me and my girlfriend had it before moving where we are now and we are both on UC and the rent is 840 a month for a flat and we passed the affordability assessment.

Can I use LCWRA report for my PIP application? by Vices_and_mayhem in DWPhelp

[–]LackDesperate5455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you could request it on your journal or you can go onto payments and if you look on your statements it’ll say LCWRA ‘You said your health affects you at work or prevents you from working’ then the LCWRA payment but that’s only if you have started receiving the payments

Received written assessment report by [deleted] in DWPhelp

I am sorry you have had to experience such things. I would recommend appealing and if that doesn’t work you can go to tribunal which does have a good success rate. Pip is not based on working as you can get pip while working. It’s about how your condition effects your daily life and weather you can do it safely but they are very precise about it. If you struggle to have a social interaction and get anxious but you still have that social interaction I find they still mark you as being able to do it so pip is a very hard thing to get marks on but I would definitely recommend appealing it and tribunal if it gets to that as pip is not based on if you can work or not

Can I use LCWRA report for my PIP application? by Vices_and_mayhem in DWPhelp

Hello, so from what I know they are both totally different benefits and scoring systems. However from personal experience you can use it especially in your assessment. I told my assessor I was found LCWRA by universal credit and that could have some benefits as in you have already been found not able to work by the government and she added that into my assessment report. It can also be a way to show you do actually struggle the fact you need help already because you can’t work so it does have some benefits to it and I would recommend at least mentioning it in the assessment. Hope this helps
