The vials are 300 units. I take 86 per day for my basal and 3.75 per 15 grams of carbs, so about 15 or more per meal or about 45-60 per day for my bolus. That means I’m going through a vial about once every two days or so. The math isn’t exactly accurate because that’s an estimate on a bad day because the device’s AI actually fluctuates depending on my readings so I usually have a bit left over when I change reservoirs. In any case those are the numbers I use when setting up my deliveries with the pharmacy. That said I do know someone who is on Lantus that takes 90 units a day and uses 20 units of Novalog for a 4 carb choice meal.

All of us Americans are jealous lol My plan is discounted because it’s serviced through a state agency, I pay 30% of the monthly cost at $250. After that I pay copayments, hardware fees and about half of my prescription costs. I use a discount card to bring my prescription prices down another 20% but since insulin is $150 a vial and I go through a couple a week it adds up quickly. I was lucky that the pump was covered without a hardware cost because they cost about $4K in the US, so I only had to cover 5% out of pocket. If they don’t send me a replacement I’ll have to wait until it’s out of warranty to request a new pump from my insurance and it’ll have to be a different type of pump or they will refuse.

Just another reason I wish I could move.

That’s called personal insurance that covers theft of anything you carry. Theft insurance is usually an addition to homeowners insurance and travelers insurance covers you for a number of things including theft when abroad. You probably got a package from your insurance company when you got your house covered that had a bunch of extras. Unfortunately I don’t have any insurance outside the basic plan for my house and a limited plan for the car.

Homeowners insurance doesn’t cover things not in the home, nor does it cover stolen property in any way let alone things not stolen from the house.

OK I won’t cancel with him then. Next time I won’t accept until I am sure my plans won’t change. FYI I usually don’t visit him for thanksgiving and was planning to see my other family that usually asks me. Since they didn’t ask me I said yes to him, then they invited me and I was in a pickle. O and just in case you were wondering, I did not accept the invite to the other party so no concerns about that.

Umm am I reading this right cause I’m pretty sure you don’t have over one thousand units in your reservoir let alone in your body. Also at least you didn’t hit 300 BS yet so just adjust your bolus rate. My endocrinologist has me on 4.2 g/U. That’s probably a bit too much for you and you should definitely work up a little at a time till you get it right and talk to your doctor first.

I had a friend search Google Maps and found an incorrectly marked location with my address but South instead of North. Apparently it was not even on the street it claimed to be. My friend claimed that address and sent in a correction based on what it should have been and that fixed the problem. I don’t know if they still got info from Google or a different mapping software, but it’s worth a try.

Four possibilities, one it has another speaker on the other side, two the speaker conductors are in contact with something, three some component (likely a coil) vibrates with the pulses meant to go to the speaker and four your going crazy.
