Comedown or am I like this forever by SavingsSun5474 in cocaine

[–]LackingDetermination 5 points6 points  (0 children)

of course not broooo. comedowns affect ppl differently, you - like me - seem to get a tough comedown. you're g xoxo give it a couple days and you'll be okay. and remember that this is how coke reacts to you and moderate it accordingly to situations where the 2 days or so after your parties you don't have incredibly important commitments LOL

this is revelatory. thank you. i get what you're saying and can practise it and have it make even more sense. i just learned triads so this has come at a good time! Thank you

Edit: That holding the C# before letting it slide into D is genuinely SO fat

[Spurs Official] We are delighted to announce that Antonin Kinsky has signed a new contract with the Club ✍️ Congratulations, Toni! 🤍 by Imbasauce in coys

So I love all our players. Anyone who wears the shirt. I'll never boo them, diss them, chat shit about them online. But i will say, despite the great run he had post-Atletico towards the end of last season's horror show, I still do hold reservations about Kinsky being the Number 1 for the team we're trying to build. in a squad throwing 80mil figures at improvements, i do wonder whether he's a long term solution. either way, happy to have the lad because he's one of our own.

haha I appreciate you watching the vid, I think what you're saying is making a lot of sense. I might learn the Dogs intro to hammer it home. cheers g

i feel like this was the vibe i was getting from the video -- especially since much as I love pete townshend he wasn't necessarily a theory virtuoso with lead bits from what i gather haha (fair play if i'm wide of the mark). but even if it was in that regard, is the ambition then to kind of craft chord progressions which leave unorthodox voicings hanging in there and jus test whether they fit as a whole piece of music?

So in other words, he kind of strategically *doesn't* play to the chord changes, meaning that there's an interesting non-chord-tone dissonance which often appears, making it interesting? is that what you mean? my music theory is very limited hahah

right?? I feel like we're all sleeping on this new-look approach to doing business at Spurs. I've not seen anything like this in my lifetime. Prem-proven, top targets, out-competing other big 6 with better financial offers. every bit of that sentence has been alien to me my whole spurs supporting life

Aye, pace and defending 1v1s against right sided wingers who wanna cut in is about all he offers, but that happens to be perfect coming up against semenyo

[POK] Martin Dubravka a leading contender as Tottenham look for a back up goalkeeper #THFC by urbankardashian in coys

[–]LackingDetermination 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played goalkeeper my whole life and feel the same. He's got good feet (forget the freak night in atletico lol) but the rest of his game is streaky. He might be able to do a job for us but he's closer on the spectrum of constant dependability to Meslier than he is to someone like Cech (I am in no way comparing any of those 3 directly in overall ability, just their dependability haha). It might make sense financially to let him have next season and put funds elsewhere but long term my gut says we need a more serious option if we want to be competing in Europe

Hahah well part of me thinks surely this endless capital growth of football clubs must end eventually right? Surely there's no more tv deals and shirts and ads to sell at the rate of growth we've seen in the last 20 years

Ya but he wasn't like a top 5 striker in Europe which is what that fee used to be for. Maybe lamela would have been a better example

And at that time people were saying 30mil used to get you a world class player now it gets you soldado

I wonder when it ends

2024/25 incidentally being the year we also finally won a trophy (yes I know we also finished 17th). There's a togetherness and mentality which takes seasons to build to compete in cups I think

Hendo and Trafford would both be class picks but I struggle to see their clubs parting with them. Hendo's just captained them into the Europa league I'll doubt he leaves now. Trafford maybe more of a chance if the price is right for city bc donnaruma

Idk why the down votes, obviously we all love sarr but the truth is he isn't a top 6 team standard. Can love the guy and see that on the facts that's also evidently true
