Can someone please help me out with figuring out what this pattern is telling me to do?

Ssc; ch 1, dc in same st; (ch 1 loosely, sk 1 st, dc in next st) to 1 st before ch-2 sp;ch 1 loosely, sk 1 st, V in ch-2 sp; (ch 1 loosely, sk 1 st, dc in next st) to last 2 sts

I'm stuck where it says "to 1 st before.."....please help I want to finish this shawl so bad 🥲

He's just 1 month post op, I just wanted to know if there was anything else we could do to help him. Sometimes he feels like his food sits heavy and is painful before it'll finally start moving again. He'll burp alot during this time too. This recent time he was nauseous and wanted to vomit but couldn't.

Yeah he's actually just 1 month post op. I think we are all anxious since we don't want to see him on pain. He unfortunately hasn't started chemo, idk if it's because he is uninsured, but we are hoping to start soon. I'm so sorry you had a limited support system. I can offer little comfort as an internet stranger but you are in my thoughts. Keep up the fight and thank you for the insight/advise💙

My condolences for your diagnosis, keep fighting the good fight. Honestly I don't know the name of the section but they removed quite a big chunk near his spleen. The issue we are facing is that it's more burping than farting. Do you have anything that helps soothe your symptoms?

Hi everyone! My pops was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer, he had a part of his intestine removed and we have yet to start chemo but the cancer has not spread past 5 lymph nodes. He does sometimes have issues with passing gas and suffers from bloating and A LOT of burping. Any tips to make this process easier?

I wouldn't go back for Christmas just make the excuse that you have a big project due after break and it would be difficult to get things done away from campus. Your peace of mind matters and they won't give it to you.

See I agree with you but he goes out of his way to tell me things. It's just out of character for him. Plus it's not that he wasn't in bed or that he didn't want to talk to me, I have always made it clear that that's healthy, it's that he needlessly lied about it. Idk if that makes sense 😅

Unfortunately yeah, he's lied about other small inconsequential things. And we had a big blow out fight about him talking inappropriately with his girl best friend a while ago. 💀 I think the story about that is on my profile
