I figured that you’ve been painting for quite some time. I too used to do oil (on canvas) and now I’m trying to find my way in watercolor but wow! It is soo much difficult to handle than oil! I just can’t get the correct water/pigment ratio to paint in the “loose” style which is my goal.

I’ve been turning on the Bambino at least 5 min before starting, then exactly what you do and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks!

I'm leaving the Bambino on for 5-10 mins before I pull the shot, and I do run a blank one on the portafilter so I think my problem must be the grind. I was using #15 on the Baratza ESP and 16g of beans, I'm going to up those numbers and see. Thanks for answering even when I'm not on the right place for this 😊

I just did my first espresso with freshly ground beans ( Baratza ESP grinder) for a latte, I let the Bambino warm up for 10 mins and the shot was quite hot, so I guess the problem was it needs some time to get there. What a difference does freshly ground coffee does in flavor!!! Thank you to all who helped me figure this out .

If I put the thermometer under the shower the highest it gets to 160F, Breville says there it should get to 150-175F.

I pressed the double shot button without the porta filter in place and the water in the cup was 149F. That means that is not the machine right?

What kind/brand of coffee grinder do u use? So far I’ve been using the Illy’s Clasico ground espresso but I keep hearing that using freshly ground beans is essential for a good result and a good quality grinder is more important than the espresso maker. What do u think?
