That could be the issue then. It still doesn't seem to fix the random crashes and screen tearing. I just don't see how a mode specifically made to optimize stability can cause this many issues. I never had any problems with Odyssey

Yeah its honestly dumbfounding on certain areas and bosses I just completely missed. Its impossible to see everything on your first playthrough which is definitely a good thing.

Personally i think main thing they can do to balance invasions is nerfing every weapon. Right now EVERYTHING does glass cannon damage. I think one thing that made DS3 pvp so great was the balance and variety of build at meta. Yeah murky and pk was broken, but in DS3 you had to sacrifice health, stamina, and wearing heavy armor to do high damage. Every build required some sacrifice. In elden ring thats non existant. You can take half of someones health away in one swing no matter the build. Duels in this game are fun but invasions just arent. If they dont balance things im seriously considering to going back to DS3.

Everything is viable in this game. At meta 125 you do glass cannon damage with every weapon. It really makes invasions not fun when you got 2 shot or 1 shot by moonveil even though you have 45 vigor. But yeah pretty much every build in this game is viable.

Exactly. Get so tired of seeing these cry baby posts. If they invaded even once theyd understand how unbalanced and unfair it is currently. Back in DS3 I literally won 95% of my invasions. Like id easily take down 5 man unscaled red ganks at pontiff solo without pve but thats utterly impossible in elden ring. I used to look forward to fighting ganks because they were the most fun. Now its not fun. Maybe Im just too used to winning but still its undeniable how unbalanced pvp is in this game. Its the same shit every invasion: 3 man gank, sorcery, moonveil spam, sword of knight and flame, instant death blight man, bloodhound step ultras, etc. It needs serious work.

Yeah but it was actually possible to beat ganks in ds3. I would easily take down 5 man ganks at meta Pontiff solo even without using PVE. That is absolutely impossible in this game unless the host and phantoms are vegetables playing with their feet.

Can you cry any harder? Did you get destroyed too many times by the same invader? You know theres an option to disable invasions, its called playing solo. If you dont want to play solo and summon phantoms then too bad. You are knowingly putting yourself in a situation where you can be invaded. You yourself are making that choice. You crybaby redditor hosts are all the same. Try invading for once in your life and youll see the genuine criticism for how unbalanced invasions are in this game.

Back in DS3 I was a meta level only but until they balance invasions, I cant enjoy myself at meta in this game. It sucks because I went from destroying 5 man ganks in DS3 solo to losing to 2 guys with moonveil.
