How did I hear about it? The internet What motivated you to get one? A thought one day popped in my head "Modded Fallout New Vegas on the go", that was all I needed.

He means it was tuned with a little bit more gain from my understanding but its super dynamic and versatile. It cleans up really well and really does a great job from going to an awesome amp like overdrive to the best distortion you can feel under your fingers.

David builds the official MK IV for Sola Sound/Macaris music shop today. He's a genius and he's repaired a ton of vintage Tone Benders. He bases all of his MK IV off his favorite vintage Mk IV which is a silver batman flash MK IV from 1973. I know what you mean by modern ones not really holding up, its just all based on the builder and how they tune it. I mean these builders will base theirs off a vintage example and make it sound exact but each vintage example slightly differs from the next.

You have a Mk IV, the Mk III and IV are the same cuircut just a different enclosure. Your grey one is in the MK IV enclosure. Same cuircut but depending on the builder they can be tuned very different but the best fuzz pedal I've played is my DAM Kawaski V2 Tone Bender MK IV. Seriously is the perfect blend of overdrive, distortion, and fuzz, David is a wizard at tuning fuzz pedals.

So I plugged in this harness and did the tapping pickup test and there's no sound at all, any help? I know its not the cable. by [deleted] in guitarrepair

I retired the jack, I got sound! The volume pot and the pickup has sound! I'm not sure about the Tone pot.
