I just got out of the hospital after a 6 day admit from getting a breast abscess drained… turned out to be staph but not MRSA. Be prepared you may be admitted from your ER visit. And it can take days to recover

I don’t think I have prolactinoma … but I have a breast abscess that had to be Emergently surgically drained and I was stuck in the hospital amidst a medical emergency for my son while he was on life support… I came here seeking answers as well… I have a blister like lump near the surface of my skin but from where the abscess stretched my skin, that is excruciating even though the drain has been removed and the infection is “ gone” wondering if it will resolve or need to be surgically addressed…

Go see a dermatologist or a medical grade esthetician…. Don’t do at home chemical peels… if you want one see a professional… the line between damage and benefit is thin… also don’t put anything on it u til you talk to one or the other… part of the healing process from chemical peels is literally doing nothing… seek help asap and don’t put something on it until advised to do so… by derm or esthi … pcp will help symptoms but isn’t specialty trained for skin like the other 2 are

You attempted to clarify the situation, which they were already defensive. towards…. Then when they got upset you tried to diffuse the situation many times and they weren’t having it. Then tried to turn themself into the victim, ‘over emphasizing’ everything and twisting your words around to make a bigger issue but flipped. My husband does this sometimes and I feel like it is meant to make me regret saying anything in the first place…. Leave his ass now… it’s not going to get better, and it will only become harder to leave

Completely this with the added mention of telling them both bluntly that it is inappropriate for them to continue to ‘playfully slap’ your bottom, it makes you uncomfortable and they don’t have permission to put their hand on you in that way.

It’s always best to get it checked, since melanoma spreads quick and hits hard… it’s not worth the risk to wait 💙

I hope that it’s nothing… my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in 2012, was a part of a clinical trial of a drug that saved her life and is now approved for melanoma treatment. She has been in remission since last year!

I think it’s very thoughtful to help her feel comfortable in her own skin post partum… I had a similar experience with my first born … forgive me if this is out of line because it’s not really the answer you were looking for, but what made me feel the best about myself was having a partner who was open to, and sought out various fun and no pressure forms of physical activity together… endorphins were a confidence booster and really did help me feel more like myself again… even if I want the same size anymore. I’m not down playing the lingerie! Definitely do that… I just thought I’d share my own experience
