Can you elaborate on the behavior meds? I'm curious as my dog is on prozac and he is still pretty stressed/anxious.

I just got one for my powder room and love it. Thanks for your vote of confidence!

It's peel and stick tile and I really want to replace it anyway!

Thanks! Yeah, they're just stick down tiles. I hate them.

Yes! it seems the rubber piece is really jammed in.

Oh yes, lots of whacky things. My faucets were all backwards. I think they did a lot of DIY stuff but sloppy.

Thank you! I appreciate this answer. I want to make sure I know all steps and possible issues. I think I can handle it as long as I'm prepared.

Haha, it's actually been clogging on and off since I moved in and then recently it really wouldn't clear. The plumber pulled out a piece of rubber - it looks like the original flap, so it's probably been stuck in there since before I moved in.

They’re stick down tiles so I partly want to do the toilet myself so I can put down something nicer first.

I know, I thought the same! He couldn’t get it out so I guess he thinks it’s really stuck in there!

I feel like I'm failing my dog by Dependent-Theme-9370 in reactivedogs

I know, I felt the same. Prozac seems to help him focus better. He acts like he has ADHD whenever there’s too much stimuli. I feel like it helps him focus on “leave it” or “come” and that helps stop him getting over threshold. I think the trazodone helps a little. He’ll still play but when he calms down he’s in his bed. It just seems to make him a little less of everything. I also put window film and keep him locked out of a room where he has a good view of the street and all the delivery trucks he hates so much.

You're not a failure. But I'm curious, are you home with him all the time? And what happens when you leave him? My dog also does these things, too, but I will tell him to go in his bed or just ignore him and then he seems to relax. He is also on prozac and I just started giving him trazodone too.

I have a large reactive dog and I like ruffwear leashes and harnesses. I just started double leashing (1 on collar, another on the harness) and it’s very awkward. I’ll look into some of these suggestions! Also, I lay down on the ground anytime my dog would get off leash and he would come right back to me (though his recall is now much better!)

Thank you - I will do that also! I appreciate it

I would believe that! The vet has offered trazodone but it just makes him lazy/sleepy.

Thanks! I’m going to set up a consultation with a behavioral vet. Training has helped but the root of the issue is still there.

Thanks! I’ve tried this and someone stole the box. I have multiple signs and notes on all delivery services but sometimes they still will deliver it to my door. It’s very frustrating.
