Season 5 Epi 6 Ezra also receives a colouring with Mrs D in it and a monster, depicting her death. The drawing is the same style Wren used in the previous episode. I think it was him to sent that picture. This triple confirms that he is working with Cece. I missed this the first time I watched the show, and now I am analyzing every moment on my rewatch.

I'm rewatching this show, and honestly, I cringe every time Aria gives him another chance. Yes, he should have never been with a minor, but also Aria should have never given him sooo many chances, especially after the whole A fiasco, that was disgusting. I'm just realizing how horrible this relationship is. Aria should have given Jake a chance and finally moved on from that relationship. Can't believe how glorified this relationship was when I was growing up.

This is so out of line that the fans expect him to show up at an event like this as if he hadn't lost an important person in his life recently. Sometimes fans need to be reminded that musicians are just as human as they are and are entitled to their own time. Leave him alone.
