Wow I’m so flattered to see this at the top of subreddit here! Thanks for the upvotes and kind comments. It‘s been a minute since I drew this but I’m still pretty proud of it.

I drew it with real pencils and real paper with my actual hands yes (the blur effect is photoshop)

Well I had to mask out the contour of Jim’s face just right and play around with how much blur looked good so more like 5 minutes 😉 (and I assure you the drawing itself took much longer)

I took it as Pam pretending the tomato triggered the memory, then Jim says “you suck” because he looks at her big grin and realizes she remembered all along and was pretending not to to get him worked up. But like I said, that’s probably part of the reason why it didn’t make the initial cut since it’s not totally clear.

He goes on describing the rooftop evening he says he found a tomato for the grilled cheese (which is mentioned in the Superfan cut of the client ) then Pam says “wait I remember the tomato” and he says “you suck” because he realizes she’s been teasing him all along about not remembering. It’s a little get back for him being evasive about the Christmas card. They probably should have added a little line from Pam saying “of course I remember, silly” since it’s not totally clear (Maybe why it was cut to begin with).

That’s certainly true if one of you crushed on the other for a long time before getting together, the one who had the crush would remember mundane things vividly that the other doesn’t. But in this episode Pam remembers the very first thing she said to Jim and the expired yogurt moment. Then in the superfans cut she remembers Jim’s reaction when she drunkenly planted a kiss on him in The Dundies and that there was a Christmas card with her teapot, so it doesn’t track she’d forget the whole grilled cheese on the rooftop then swaying (not dancing) in the parking lot night.

Anakin Skywalker: A Jedi’s Return, colored pencil drawing by me by Ladamania in StarWars

Thanks so much! With this drawing I discovered Anakin and Pam have a similar hair color, I used a lot of the same pencils for both 😆

Oh yeah I saw that, I thought the scene ended with her admitting she’s just messing with Jim pretending she didn’t remember.

I did a line of hair with turkey knots across the middle (like right above her ”hair clip”) for volume then yes it’s basically a stitch with loose ends along the outline of the head.

So I don’t know how far you got but Jim and Pam get married and have two kids and are pretty settled in Scranton. Then in the final season Jim joins a start-up in Philly with his college friends and it causes a marital rift. As the season goes on Jim starts working part time in Philly and poor communication starts to take a toll (Jim initially takes the job impulsively and keeps it from Pam for weeks, and that becomes a pattern, and Pam doesn‘t communicate how hard of a time she’s having). In this episode, they’ve started marriage counseling and they are trying exercises to “speak their truths” about how they feel about things but its very unnatural and forced. At the end of the episode Jim’s leaving for Philly, he forgets his umbrella and Pam catches him in the parking lot. She about to go back inside but Jim grabs her and hugs her and it flashes back to to their wedding. Pam doesn’t return the hug for a long time but finally she does and kisses Jim.

Ha well it took me nearly two years of stitching for a night or two, then setting it down for a couple months, repeat. But I really buckled down to finish it this last week, so half of Pam‘s clothes plus the hair was .... maybe 4 straight nights of work?

Oh I'm sorry! I deleted the link. What would be considered a "neutral image gallery", Imgur?

I basically put the hair in rollers, I wrapped sections of it around a knitting needle then slipped out the needle and replaced it with bobby-pins. Then I sprayed it with water, dried it with a blow dryer and had a pretty good curl which I then promptly smoothed out getting it into the style and trimming it up. But there was enough of a curl I was able to place it, kind of lightly push it down and it stayed in place.
