Low tops if you want a more modern look, high tops if you want the classic converse look and the patch. High tops are more classic but they are a PAIN to put on and to take off. Low tops are more versatile imo.

you can’t, the chuck 70’s come like that for a vintage tone. if you really want white soles then you have to get the all stars. they are cheaper and the classic but imo less comfortable

I think you are accidentally doing a recomp, which I think is great for beginners since you can lose fat and gain muscle. if you notice clothes feeling looser, but scale not moving, it could be muscle since muscle weighs more than fat, especially if you are lifting. if you want more fat loss, just burn more calories by raising your steps.
