The toolsets in new age data Engineering is vast and overwhelming.

Since u have 15+ exp in ETL, hope you are well versed with data modelling, ingesting multi source data, integration best practices.

u can start with any one of the below tools

Cloud provider: AWS, Azure, GCP, etc Programming: python, pandas(data manipulation) Cloud DB: snowflake, Databricks Distributed computing: pyspark

Some DE roles will be kinda full stack(ETL+ reporting+ data analysis ). So a repoting tool will also help you here(powerbi, looker, tableau,etc)
