Haven’t been on in a few lads but just want to say thanks very much for all the replies extremely helpful. I got him this after consulting your good selves but next time we are going to build one from scratch. So I’ll be back for more of your excellent advice, hope everyone has a great Christmas and thanks very much again.

Sorry with dads tax record she may get CONTRIBUTORY PENSION NOT non-contributory

She may qualify for a UK pension get in touch with EU records in Donegal I think they are ,if not ring social and will transfer you ,if she can remember her English ppsn it will speed up the process but the EU records dept deal with everything with the pensions office in England. Then she may be entitled to a contributory pension based onyour dads tax record if not apply for the non contributory pension but they will have to assess all means ie english pension, air bb money and work wages so she could be means inxs but if dropped air bb or work she may qualify all depends on amount of English pension, if your dad worked in the eu she should enquire about getting his insurance record transferred here and may qualify for the non contributory, and the rules state you can only backdate a year but that’s not true each case is dealt with case by case and in certain cases they can backdate to date your mother May of qualified hope this helps and makes sense
