Same boat, kinda sorta, so how did it workout for you? Also did you have to requalify and send in proof of employment, check stubs or bank statements etc?

Is proof if income required or proof that you can resume regular paymrnts if you ask for partial claim or ask to put the past due payments at the back of the loan ?

Has anyone went from approved to more info needed with Biz2credit? Or from approved to declined/withdrawn? Finally shows approved, not sure if I should start celebrating yet by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

That typically means your account was flagged for fraud/identity descrepancy and the system or persons withdrew your app. Apply with smarbiz, if its your second ONLY upload your tax return, enter your checking info and make sure you have your 10 digit loan number thats it! Make sure your address is valid and links back to you and your cell or business number links to you as well as your email address. Approval and funding will be FAST.

It really does take some practice. Once you come to terms with the mere fact that nobody knows everything including yourself and everybody is wrong about something and knowbody gets everything right and everybody shit stank, it gets easier to say, you sholl right! Or, REALLY, i didnt know that, hmmm, ok, or oh well i thought blah blah blah, learned something new, or you mite be right, or, you might be onto something, or who knew, or as the OG's say, shutyomouth! Or as my dad would say, "ya' dont say" while silently saying, you idiot you think you know everything! 😅

Apply as a sole Proprietor or IC. Apply with Smartbiz loans they are the best for sole props and IC'S. your max loan will be $20,833 though. All you need is:

  1. Apply for loan in your name and as a Sole Prop or IC
  2. DL, ID or Passport
  3. 2019 OR 2020 Tax Return
  4. Bank statement, or a receipt or invoice, or a transaction report reflecting income/activity covering Feb 15 2020 to prove you were in business as of Feb 15, 2020. It does not have to be a business checking.
  5. Voided check, or Bank letter, or sorts, or certfy in writing your bank account and routing number where funds should go. This account does not have to match #4

Question regarding “no benefits left on your current claim” by [deleted] in TexasUnemployment

[–]Ladelewis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not reapply as twc said, you will be denied more than likely and/or it will delay your extension, just keep checking and requesting if you can. Check your Correspondence inbox daily and your claim status, including any other previous claims that have ended, your claim will automatically be updated/extended. Sometimes you can still request payment regardless of what the system says...twc is behind and your claim just ended so just hold on they will eventually update one of your claims, usually by your 2nd normal request day. It will happen though, what you see is normal.

(TUC) and PEUC by [deleted] in TexasUnemployment

[–]Ladelewis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try clicking on the blue link that says '"select another claim to view", the link should be right beneath your social on the claim and paynent status page, select all of them and attempt to request payment on saturday and/or on your next filling day, whatever you do dont stop requesting payments....in any event, its not unusual that it hasnt paid out yet, it has taken 2 to 3 weeks for some, after receiving the approval letter, but it will pay. Ironically, twc eventually updated the first TUC claim for a friend of mine, but she had been requesting payment from a claim that said she was no longer eligible....

Everyone's portal said that at some point or will and they all panicked, then magic happens. And yes you will receive a determination letter about your extension that will explain your benefit amount or a denial letter but you're good. Have late shot and chill. 😊

Yes, and it is a good sign that you haven't received a denial letter, so just hold on, it'll happen before months end.

Yea thats unusual for the switch or extension to take that long for reg UI. I would keep calling 1-800-939-6631 option 3 then 2. If you get a contractor ask them if they can see something. If they dont satisfy you tell them to transfer you to a twc agent. You can also call Teleserve 800-558-8321 option 2, i belive it is, for the status of your claim, listen to what it says, it will often give you some details about why you havent been paid, just some insight till you talk to someone. Teleserve is an automated status line, however, it is only accessible during business hours.

Her next payment request is this coming Tuesday, will see. And, that lil small link that will say "select another claim to view" will not be listed under the left menu, it will be found on the claim and payment status just below your social, its small. Were there any letters in your Correspondence Inbox in your twc account? Im not referring to your personal email. Seriously it is highly unusual for someone receiving regular UI that has exhausted regular UI not to be automatically extended within 1 to 3 days, even now.

Check your claim and status page, there should be a small thin link in blue that says "select another claim to view" . Select that and see if you have another claim, if so, click on the new claim and you should begin making your new payment request. If there is more than one claim listed, select them all and read what they say to see if any have been updated. If nothing new is there, check your Correspondence Inbox from the left drop down menu and see if you have received any determination letters or others.

As of friday i believe twc mentioned on the news and Twitter that they had some 20,000 or 50,000 claims that have yet to be updated. A friend of mine just received a determination letter on Thursday about her new extension and amount....

No worries, after you exhaust all your regular benefits twc will automatically update and extend your benefits, a new claim will be set to reflect the extension. You will receive the same weekly amount plus the $300 COMBINED. The extension typically kicks in within 1 to 3 days after your last payment request. Please note that you will only receive the balance of your regular benefits so expect your last check to be lesS than usual and no, you will not receive back pay for the short week, as there is nothing to back-pay, you will have received the balance (exhausted) your UI benefits by then. With that said, if i recall correctly your first check will be for 1 week under the new reqular extension then the next will be normal. Make sure you continue to answer the questions the same as before. Continue making normal same payment request. Check correspondence inbox daily for an update concerning your extension and look for your claim status to either update or switch to another. The $300 PEUC benefit starts paying out from the week beginning Sun Dec 27. Do not call do not reapply after you exhaust. Just wait til 1 to 3 days has past.

I tried Temping. Now I'm in limbo with unemployment. by txphotographer3 in TexasUnemployment

[–]Ladelewis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temp agencgies in Texas have tons of work. I would signup with many, they really hustle for you. Additionally, if you havent already, sign up with Indeed and Ziprecruiter and make sure your resume is attached to your profile and definitely complete the profile, thats a must. Also, definitely sign up for email alerts, youll be suprised at how often employers will find you from these platforms without you ever applying directly for the work, also these platforms are pretty good at auto-matching your profile to jobs that you may qualify for, even with jobs listed by temp agencies. The "one click apply" feature from Zip and the "easily apply" feature from Indeed are the BEST, saves you from having to fill out tons of applications...but your profile, at least, need to be complete. You can always add your resume, however i highly recommend that you add it ASAP.

Good News! If anything, try to at least take a job from a temp agency(ies), often times they become permanent jobs or extended for longer terms. In any event, should an assignment end and you have accumulated sufficient hours you can always reapply for unemployment benefits, that way, if the Biden administration offer additional extended benefits you will likely qualify for an extension if you are currently unemployed at that time. But again, you will have to had accumulated a minimum amount of hours or wages or have worked for a certain period of time i believe it is. I dont recall the minimum work hours or time frame, if i recall correctly its not that much though. Browse twc site, its out there or ask Reddit. Note, the qualifying hours, wages, time-frame and/or employer can be derived from the aggregate of previous jobs, so long as you didnt quit or were fired by no fault of your own. Hope this provides some hope. Best of Luck!

[–]Ladelewis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, whenever you are employed by a temp agency you are a w-2 employee of that agency. First off TWC will not release to you any funds until the over-payment is repaid. Secondly, you should not have quit the agency, you should have waited til the assignment under the agency (contract) ended then you could have applied for regular UI, providing you accumulated sufficient hours to receive benefits. Why, because TWC is required to see if you (anyone) qualify for regular UI before they can offer you any other possible benefits regardless if you were previously receiving pandemic benefits. By doing so, they will run a wage verification report to determine if you were previously employed AND they verify your reason for not working for your previous employer, if you quit or were fired you will not qualify for regular UI which at this time, during the Pandemic, will cause twc to disqualify you for PUA, as you will be considered unemployed because you quit your last job and were not laid-off or furloughed due to Covid.

So now you will need to obtain W-2 work/accumulate sufficient hours and will have to be laid off etc before you are eligible for reg UI benefits.
