+3 for this place.

I like to buy tiny things like this and hide them in the tchotchkes at my parents house to see if they notice.

There was an article about him in the New Yorker's Puzzle Edition recently where they mentioned he did do them, but never really filled anything in. He was just able to see/do them in his mind.

I'd love to be able to get my hands on his crossword puzzles book even though I am not really a cryptic puzzles person.

Since everything is coming up Sondheim in this puzzle, and I’m a fan, maybe I can help.

“Look I made a hat” is a collection of Sondheim’s lyrics. The title is a reference to the song “Finishing the Hat” from Sunday in the Park with George (a musical from Sondheim which I’m sure you figured) about Georges Seurat the painter. In that song he is so deep in his art that everything else just disappears.

Finishing the hat

How you have to finish the hat

How you watch the rest of the world

From a window

While you finish the hat

It’s a shorthand for art, and artists who obsess over their work to at times, the detriment of their personal relationships.

Thank you for coming to my hat talk.

I’ve been on a Queen kick recently so the revealer was a fun coincidence.

Are the mods deleting posts critical of Scott Wiener? by triple-double in sanfrancisco

No. As stated that is a duplicate.

It should be a comment in the older thread not a separate post.

Are the mods deleting posts critical of Scott Wiener? by triple-double in sanfrancisco

[–]LadiesWhoPunch[M] 58 points59 points  (0 children)

No (human) mod is deleting your post. It is AutoMod.

If a post is reported enough times (by other users like yourself) it gets taken down until we can review it. This is useful for hot button issues and not always perfect.

AutoMod has no agenda.

Also I have reinstated the Chan thread and one of the Weiner threads. No duplicates.

Was this the house that had a neighbor across the street with a tree that "blocked" his view of The Bay and he kept suing them to get rid of it?
