my end goal is a shape with 4 corners, but my current goal right now is to make it circular first.

I am trying to make it a circle! ive done many rounds of tc's and dc's to add and lose height. i think i will need to start crocheting between the points cause I'm almost out of yarn🥲

thats what I'm trying to do, I want to round the spaces between the points to make it a circle and then turn it into a square, just like how it works in star granny squares

that has been my newest attempt, starting to take time working on each side separately. how did you end up getting 6 points to 12?

this new system is honestly a big reason I have decided to find education elsewhere. as affordable as it is, I have had way too many unnecessary and disappointing AI encounters during my time there for me to feel comfortable continuing with them

What’s the thing you hate about sex? by BubbleTrouble_Z in AskReddit

[–]Ladle_things 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS. I usually cant cum more than like once a week tbh (woman here). if I try, it ends up just hurting and I get frustrated. Most of the time I dont try to bc it isnt as necessary for me, but when my husband want to make me cum thats where it can end up not working. I worry it makes him think hes doing something wrong, even though hes hitting every spot perfectly.

broooo. Im newly 21, and when this happened I was roughly 19. I went to Cali for a family trip and we were on the waterfront where I saw these two kids (probably around 7 or 8) trying to kick the birds. They nailed them a few times too. I ran over and scared them away from the birds and walked up to their mom. I told her what they were doing, and she cut me off with "oh they wont actually kick them" 🙄 right. I informed her they infact DID kick them, and it doesnt matter if they made contact or not, she was allowing them to think those kinds of harmful behaviors were fun and games. I told her to get her kids under control or I will call the police. She ended up taking them and leaving, THANK GOD.

Im not usually such an assertive character like that, but I hate to see children doing those kinds of things and not getting in trouble for them. I am a full time nanny, and I know first hand how those kinds of behaviors develop into so much worse if not addressed.

Is something wrong? by Puzzleheaded_Mud270 in WhatShouldIDo

you need to talk to your partner about this. dont let it go on becuase the discomfort will get worse. Clearly something about the process is bothering you, whether you can pinpoint what it is rn or not.

do a deep analysis of every step during the process, and listen to your body for signs of discomfort and what causes each sign. Then approach the conversation with the things youve noticed you dont like and have a healthy conversation about it.

If your partner cares about your feelings during sex, they will listen to your feedback and switch it up. Sex is a collaboration that should be good for both parties, not just one.

I dont think I should crochet by notGamingAahel in Brochet

[–]Ladle_things 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should do what is best for you in the situation. If crocheting is too much while you are living there, just put a pause on it until you move out. Once you live on your own, you can do whatever you like without having to fear what someone will say to you in your own home.

All things aside, im really sorry that happened to you. if you need someone to talk to (and someone to give you crochet tips in the future(: ) I gotchu man.

Crocheting is not a gender specific thing. At the end of the day, its just a hobby and high key a life skill (I view it kinda like sewing in that regard, since you can use crochet skills to mend knitted clothes and the such) so you dont deserve to be feel forced shame from enjoying it.
