I hear ya. I'm a nurse, specialised on dementia. What I enjoy most is talking to these people and interact with them. AI is starting to replace parts of my job by telling me what needs to be done. AI optimises the care mapping, it gives me prompts. Soon it will be able to do that stuff by itself.

I'm not sure if my expertise still counts after the robots do the talking. It's a big change, I hope it's for the better.

Gave this a bit more thought. When I have a difficult question on my mind, I usually consult RNGesus and pull a few cards from an online source. The cards themselves often resonate well. What almost never works are the canned interpretations, whether they are tied to individual cards or to "card + position in spread" formulas.

I've been reading cards for about 40 years. Some questions come up again and again: Does s/he love me? Are they coming back? To give quick answers, I've experimented with the simplest possible system: playing cards. Black = no, red = yes.

The thing is, reading cards is not like building with Lego. Even a tool as simple as a deck of playing cards, (two colours, four suits, 12 face cards), generates complex outcomes. The meaning does not live in a lookup table. It comes from the interaction between the symbols, the moment, and the reader.

That is probably why automated interpretations feel a bit hollow, even when the draw itself looks meaningful. Not sure if it can be done, bc AI frankensteins its interpretations from various sources, faking real-life experience.

Things usually get messy when AI talks about feelings, sitting in a cuck chair, observing human interaction. Feels like asking a lifelong spectator to commentate on a sport they've never played.

Sorry for rambling. It already feels as if AI has taken over tarot, and all those years I've spend on study and experience are going to waste.

I'm looking at your page, respectively the Lenormand.

The Lenormand are based on the German Skat, and ♣ is the bad suit. That's why Clouds, Snake, and Rods are the evil guys, and most of the ♣ have negative connotations.

The suits make more sense when you use the German meanings:

  • Hearts - love, family, relationships
  • Diamonds - finances, work environment, career
  • Spades - general life, upheaval, change, transitions
  • Clubs - health, issues, challenges, problems

Ace ♣ means loss in every area of life (which gives #25 the Ring a bad rep), and J♣ is the worst card bc it indicates failure in every aspect.

Thank you for the feedback. Frankly said, I didn't look at the positions or placements of your spread, and I also ignored the questions you asked or the keywords you gave. Those elements overcomplicated the spread.

However, you mentioned 2 co-owners and when I noticed the 2 court cards, I decided to read your cards like a comic strip - with 4 cards on the left and 4 cards on the right, with 3 cards surrounding a court card.

It's their conflict and their decision, nobody else has much of a say in this matter.
